Arrangements and Notes for International Students During Winter Vacation 2020-2021 of WUT

Dear students,

According to the work arrangement and decision-making of the School, the 2020-2021 winter vacation schedule and related matters are hereby notified as follows, please comply with and implement.

1. Vacation arrangement: January 11, 2021 - February 28, 2021

2. The new semester will start on: March 1st, 2021(The return time of overseas students can be adjusted according to the notice of the Ministry of Education. If you haven't received the notice from the government to open the port by the end of February, online classes will start on March 1st.)

3. Notes for Winter vacation

1) All students are required to submit the vacation activity arrangement and specific whereabouts to the class counselor and add the counselor’s WeChat before January 7th, 2021.

2) During the Winter vacation, all students should keep in touch with your counselor and report your locations if you got any physical abnormalities or have emergencies, please contact them immediately.

3) International students who stay in the campus during the Winter vacation should carry with the campus card, the Permission Letter and green health code(scanning the QR code) at the school gate with a mask and take temperature measurement if you entry or exit.

4) No special reason, and without the approval of the counselor, international students who stay in the campus during the Winter vacation, in principle, should not travel out of Wuhan City. If you have a plan to leave Wuhan to take a short trip, please report to your counselors in advance, including the departure and return time. Only after obtaining the approval could you start your journey, or university has no responsibility for any injury, loss of property, accidents or other safety incidents, all of which are on students’ own account. Once students leave the school, they are not allowed to return to the school at will before February 28，2021. They are not allowed to go to high-risk areas or cities without permission. They must report to teachers of the School office in advance when returning from other places, and they can only enter the school with a valid nucleic acid report for three days according to the requirements of epidemic prevention.

5)  During the Winter vacation, the campus card and permission letter is a valid certificate(very important certificate) for entering and leaving the school gate.

6) All students are required to sign the ‘Winter vacation safety notice 2020-2021 of WUT ’, increase the safety awareness of preventing fraud, traffic accidents, drowning and other safety incidents, and strengthen safety precautions during the summer vacation.

7) Students who have not paid all the tuition fees should pay the tuition fees before February 28, 2021, otherwise the successful graduation and subsequent visa processing will be affected. If you fail to pay the tuition fee before the deadline, you will be deemed to have given up student status.

8) During the Winter vacation, please consciously abide by the school's management regulations and the relevant laws in China. Otherwise, it will be dealt with seriously according to the relevant regulations of the school. Those who break the law will be investigated for legal responsibility.

9) Overseas students should pay close attention to the news from the Chinese government and the school notice. After the opening of China port, the school will issue the return time and class time immediately.

10) Foreign students(Anyone who enters China) shall be quarantined for 14 days in accordance with local government and entry and administration bureau policies of China.and the expenses shall be charged by himself(board and lodging expenses).
